We are pleased to announce that ArgusEye has been awarded the prestigious Industrial PhD grant from the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF).
Only 12 research projects were selected among several hundred applicants, each receiving a grant of 3.25 million SEK (about 300,000 Euro). This funding supports research and postgraduate training for an industrial doctoral student in close collaboration with industry and academia.
Our project will be carried out in collaboration with Professor Veronique Chotteau’s lab at KTH (the Royal Institute of Technology) and will focus on developing advanced sensors for the detection of both IgG and more complex modalities. The research aims to contribute to the advancement of intelligent biomanufacturing and next-generation bioprocess control, directly aligning with ArgusEye’s mission to enable smarter, more efficient bioprocesses through innovative sensor technology.
This grant will provide additional resources for expanding our research on novel sensors for monitoring and controlling upstream bioprocesses, while also further strengthening our long-standing collaboration with KTH.
