ArgusEye Protein L sensor chip offers highly specific measurement of wide variety antibodies through its unique binding to kappa light chains, making it ideal for different types of antibodies including Fab fragments and single chain antibodies.
Constructed on medical-grade stainless substrates with gold nanoparticles, (AuNPs), the chip is pre-immobilized with recombinant Protein L, with a passivated gold surface to prevent nonspecific binding.
The Protein L sensor chip binds to the variable region of the kappa light chain of immunoglobulins, allowing it to capture a wide range of antibody classes—such as IgG, IgM, IgA, IgE, and IgDs. It also interacts with antibody fragments, including Fab and single-chain variable fragments (scFv). This makes the Protein L sensor chip particularly well-suited for study of antibodies and antibody fragments containing kappa light chains.
